Atelier JI - BAT (bon à tirer) Charity PRINT Auctions
on behalf of
About the project: In Oct 2018, Atelier JI launched the BAT (bon à tirer) Charity Print Auction to raise money for a cause close to heart of those in our studio, Autism. The idea is simple. With each print project or publiccation made the studio and artist would donate the BAT Edition to raise money for the National Autistic Society through a closed bidding system.
In October, Belgian fine artist Bisser collaborated with Atelier JI and launched the first BAT (bon à tirer) Charity Print Auction. The rarely seen BAT edition was successfully auctioned at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair for £300.00 and has given us great encouragement to continue with this fabulous cause. We hope you will all agree that this is a charity whose work is worth every penny raised and we hope you will continue to support them by working with us to raise money through the BAT (bon à tirer) Charity Print Auctions to come

Atelier JI & Bisser present "Migration" on behalf of the National Autistic Society.
This October Bisser joined Atelier JI in their London studio to produce a new limited edition etching "Migration", published by Graffiti Street, UK. This November the artist and studio are presenting the rare opportunity to purchase the BAT Edition (the first print off the press, usually held in the studio archives) to raise money for the National Autistic Society.
About the artist
Bisser’s star is firmly in the ascendancy. This talented young Belgian is taking the urban art scene by storm, and is known for his unforgettable and highly-stylised approach. The word Bisser comes from the verb "Bissen" which means to resit your year at school. The name wasn't chosen by accident either, as he has been able to convert classroom adversity into glorious opportunity. He recently made the top 3 at Bloop Festival and continues to wow the crowds. With his own unique style, Bisser is taking street art into new realms of creative expression.
AUCTION ENDED 25th OCT 2018 - £300.00 successfully raised. We thank everyone who took the time to bid and visit the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair to see Bisser’s fabulous new etching. xx
